Winters Here

Poetic k

Thinking of birds flying through the clouds

Moving from North to South it's winter now

No crowds on the beach traffic at minimum

Not to many people out in the streets so you make family dinner

Social media kinda boring so conversation is plentiful

  Making this family dinner memorable

Winter air carries a chill but know sign of snow

Full of holiday cheer mistletoe' s, egg nog, and reefs on door's

Light displays on houses feeling children with Christmas joy

The smiles on there faces as they unwrap every toy

Don't forget about Santa children ask how did he get in so quietly

   When there's no chimney

Older kids say he's pretend and younger kids believe living it a mystery

Just the love I feel this time of year

A smile comes over my face

      Winters here
