Forecast Calls For Romance

You're like the rainbow that comes after the rain

Shining bright for all to see,

And perfect enough to make your day

But, just like that rainbow you disappear quickly

Other times you are the icescicle after the freeze

Beautiful and glistening yet dangerous

Never fully able to trust, 

never to turn your back on for fear of being stabbed

But, then I realize that I am the rain and freeze

Without you no one sees the good side of me

I pour my love down on you,

And give you the strength to defend yourself

In return you shine light on my dreary days,

And make my flaws feel as translucent as ice

And can survive any storm
