Utopia

Rachel

Everyone's goal is to live in a utopia

That perfect world where nothing can go wrong,

Where everyone is equal,

And justice is served everytime.

That seems great to me.

However, there are some problems with a "Utopia".

Have you ever noticed how quickly a utopia

Turns into a dystopia

When you take a minute to blink?

All things that we envision to be perfect

Has quite a few flaws.

What we thought would be just what we needed

Didn't live up to expectations.

I would much rather live in this world that is still moldable

Then in this world set in stone.

Because I can still manipulate a world made of fresh clay

But I can't fix a broken world immortalized in stone.
