SEEKER

Rooster

My reasons are mine my thoughts are not

Forever a slave to this twisted plot

Acting alone, a beehive drone

Trampled down, no one else around

How is the soul to be found?

An inner light, hidden from my sight

In the mirror I took

Or maybe a book

Page be page an inner war I wage

Seeking self lost on a shelf

Bound by time, at the cost of a rhyme. JD

The pages of our life hold many secrets. Nice.
