Black Tree

femillee

A black tree at the end of my mind

With me as I sleep

With me with every thought

Tree branches are snapping

Red Eyes grow through the leaves

Crackling with excitement as they draw near

They aren't human, nor is this tree

They're from another world

Coming to take me back

Jumping out of the shadows

They take a hold of me

Dragging me back to the tree

Slowly it consumes my soul

Find strength through your works. You will shine brightly. Good job. 🙂

I feel like you need to add a bit more but otherwise quit interesting
