Travelers of Life

Shahla Latifi

We are the travelers of life
Each one of us takes a different path
To differ our selves as individuals
In the challenging circle of life

One is taking the straight path
That is safe، yet barren of happiness

The other takes a path so abstruse and knotty
Yet rewarding and tight

Some, take the same path as the the one next to him
Without defining his own taste buds

And a few
Stay in one path without rising the bars
Of effusion and gains

But despite all
We are all connected in one circle
With hopes
Wishes
True sentiments
Likes and dislikes as human
The most complex race of all
