The Dancing Flame

Shanezade

Am i angry? Yes it appears so

Being squished and unable to grow

Born in a body that has rules

Can either be loved or somebody's tool

And just when i think I'm accepeted

Another part of me is rejected

Yet they say to be yourself

But like you more when your someone else

Why me! I scream with all my might

Well in my head where it's dark as night.

They say i am beautiful in my natural state

Yet admire me more when i imitate

Took away my ability to see

The nature of what it means to be me

This anger and sadness it burns from within

And if i fight it i can not win

So bold so bright yet painful all in the same

Dancing in circles around this neverending flame
