Friendship Clouds

Summersounds68

White and gray billowing hands in flight,

hovering over brown earth,

moving in slow motion till fingers clasp,

showing friendship and serenity on a

dreary and cold,  brink of winter day.

Even though cold and gray days can make us blue, we can lift our spirits by looking up to the sky and sometimes see the clouds clasping their hands in friendship. That is why I wrote this poem----painting a picture with words trying to erase the bleakness of cold days in which the sun decides not to peek through the clouds.
