A broken heart can be caused by many things
A love gone wrong that once was whole
A friend in need is a friend indeed no longer there
Life was good and then a misdeed
Hearts were made to be broken
A heart that remains whole is a heart not tested
The longer the wait the harder the break
You cannot prepare for the unforeseen
You cannot prepare for misery and pain
You cannot prepare for a broken heart
But broken your heart will be
