Forgiveness

Lanejamesc

Sometimes I sit here in the dark, hoping it all would end.
I wonder how to suck it up, where do you begin.
I think of all the things I've done, could this be the reason for the pain.
I am told that forgiveness rules, but somehow that seems insane.
How can I ask forgiveness, when I have given none.
I wish I was a forgiving soul, but usually want to shun
So I think the time is here, to drop onto my knee.
Lift my voice to God, to the place I cannot see.
Then I felt his presence, and knew I was forgiven.
I know I must give this back, until all is even.
So when someone wrongs you, remember what say.
I forgive you don't worry, it will be Ok!

As you can see I like to rhyme. Just getting back to writing. These not my best, but it's a start😊

Forgiveness is extremely powerful. Not least the forgiveness we give ourselves, thats if we have the strength and conviction to do it. I think the ability to forgive is a real blessing and is not shared by everyone. I think forgiveness is strongly associated with power of understanding. It is incredible just how our quantity of forgiveness increases as our understanding of people grows.

You are a very deep individual! The ability to forgive other is hard to accomplish has taken years for me to understand this.😢
