dinner on me, dinner on you
i don't care, as long as it was dinner for two
but I am one, alas I must say
again and again, no matter the day
to share with myself, a dinner feast
big enough to feed you and me, to say the least
to be filled with love, passion and stories to tell
yet alone, I will sit; and in my own mind, I shall dwell
and no matter - there's no one I will see
for no one ever notices a guy like me
