Oceans

NauticalNerd

I still hear the screams of “all hands on deck”
“I'm sorry darling but this ship is a wreck”
The sails are battered and the rudder is broken,
They were words I longed to hear spoken.
I feared the water but I still crossed the oceans,
Lost to the locker, the locker of your emotions.
