How can I make it right?

How do you right a wrong, how can you take it back.
When what you've said or done, has turned white to black.
You wonder inside, how could I ever do it.
Hope the one you wronged, has the strength to get through it.
The guilt alone is painful and hard to bare.
How do you prove your regret, and show that you care.
Like so many things, patience and time is all i can hope.
Right now my heart is broken, just trying to cope.
If they find a way to forgive me I can promise this to you.
Will not happen again I will always be faithful and true.
It is easy to say and see in hindsight.
What I am trying to say, how can I make it right?
