Regret

Gianlucacaputto

I regret a lot of the things I’ve done
Life has been a ship for me
A ship that has crashed into many things
Everyday I used to feel like there was a new hole I’d have to patch
And I was running out of wood
The holes kept growing
And I was starting to sink
But I saw a light…
A light house maybe? I was so close…
The light began to show me where more wood was that was being covered by the depressing darkness… I used what I could to keep the ship afloat till I could reach the light but it seems as if it’s a never ending chase around the curvature off the earth… This chase I’m on leads me on a journey where I find more resources to make my ship stronger and better… I chase the light as the water chases me… It’s been a rough voyage and it’ll continue to be… Yet the light still guides me through the roaring tides of this ocean I call life and gives me what I need to keep sailing.
