Please, Please don’t ever doubt
The love within my heart
It is as strong today
As it was the day that it did start
We have had a time or two
Where we felt the weight of all around
But don’t believe what you think you hear
For my love is not just in my voices sound
It touches the bottom of my heart
And rises to the heights of all I see
It fills the soul that only you could make
And has formed the essence of what I be
As I stare into the eyes of love
The eyes that fill my every night
I remember what it means to love
And I know the warmth of loves bright light
I long for those moments
Moments when I can see you once again
When you will see the love within my heart
Not hear the voice that is not my friend
My hope is that you will understand
And hold on to what is true
Know what is really in my heart
A love that is for only you
