I'm so tired of the attitude

that some are always right

and everyone else is so wrong

so I can go out among

the people who are like me

short on intellectual superiority

but long on worldly knowledge

those of you who are always right

but lack the common sense

to do what must be done

when their intellectual superiority

fails them in dealing with real life

so I may concern myself

with things that are important

to me and not to you

your intellectual superiority

has become a bore

go gather with those who

think like you and are like you

to be with those 

who deal in reality

and not in the fantasy world 

of intellectual superiority
