heart please do not cry

LaRose

Time has simply passed
But all the pain still resides
Each memory that you left
Heart please do not cry

Its your smell on my clothes
Each picture in my eye
Your taste upon my lips
Heart please do not cry

Your voice that's in my mind
As you last laid by my side
Only now are just the memories
Heart Please do not cry

If only some way I could fix
Take away this open lie
Rebuild what once was strong
Heart please do not cry

But it matters not my need
For your love it must survive
I fear that all has gone
And now this Heart does cry
