Words I Never Said

RPIERRE133

Words I Never said   I never told her how her hair glistened in the moonlight. I never mentioned how her smile made my heart tremble. Or how her eyes danced pirouettes on my soul. I never shared with her my wish for her dreams, her aspirations, and her pursuit of all that is nice. My heart should remain forever unafraid, never faltering, never refusing to release the beauty and wonder that is held within the timeless, loving, and eternal heart. All that remains is the sometimes, lonely, ever heartbreaking truth, in knowing, The Words I Never Said.

I think we would all agree lost love is tge source of many a poignant poem. The way the little things stick your mind and in turn the most profound feelings remain are captured superbly here! Excellent read!
