Deaths Game.....

RavenHeart

Stranglehold takes over,
crushing me from the inside.
Pain so severe,
I wish it would subside.

Breathing is laboured
and blood runs so cold.
tiredness sets in,
I won’t live to be old.

Thoughts turn to darkness,
I’m locked in a cage.
Coffin embraces
and a heart full of rage.

As death comes to find me
and takes me by the hand.
Into the darkness he guides me,
to a faraway land.

I take my last breath
and whisper your name.
And a lonely tear flows
as death plays his game.
