Part the First
Receding clouds of violet hue
Every beat a constant blue
The sky flees across the sea of time
The music spun by shadow's lyre
Spell of periwinkle lift my eyes
See the purple clouds in never ending skies
The unfading music tells the tale
Of dream's warlock's fearless fear
Music fading into shadow's crimson light
Last vestige of summer's glory see them fight
Raging battles maelstroms never quell
So go to daylight's death without fear
Part the Second
Tone of midnight sky I see
repetitive refrain the eye of demon's plea
Howl to moon as ghost's pale eye
Cloaked in darkness waves of music
Break across night's romantic sigh
Peal of piano pulls shadows through stained glass
Hear the color of time's music's ghostly past
Sound of night's demon's final fate
Cry of pain diffracts prismatic tone
Sword of mind meet devil's rainbow mate
Exotic overtone of neon on the black
Feel the music sing of non-repentant fact
Evolving strains of light that spread like fire
Chorus of the dead sing angel's choir's shade
All sound and light shall build death's final pyre
So go to daylight's death without fear
Part the Third
Into argent purple winds we walk
Chained to adamant silence is our rock
Our sole foundation
Knowing of the glass green trees there are
Blown by wind yet fearless from afar
Our soul's creation
Bowing to the flame of crimson dawn
To cast a final call dispelling midnight's lie
Recall to night's star's final glassy sky
And join the sleep of never ending spirit song
So go to daylight's dawn without fear

- Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem to music, by tangerine dream. Different music speaks differently to everyone, and can greatly influence poetry through changing the emotions and perceptions of the poet. Sometimes all we need to write is the music of the soul- but a little inspiration never hurt anyone.

There were some mistakes in the second verse of part the first... Violet replaces Violate, and lift replaces life.
