The Day You Died

loveandsuicide1

It was a cold and hard day when you passed away.

I received a phone call, telling me you'd jumped.

I fell to the floor and froze, my whole world crashing around me.

You were my best friend, you didn't even say goodbye, why?

I ask myself each day, would I be better off where you are?

But my friends and family convince me there's a life made for me.

Without you I feel empty, you were more than a friend, you were my soulmate.

I need you, each and every day I think of you and I hold back the tears.

Forever in my heart, I love you.
