A Rough Road

LaRose

It seems real love is hard to find

indeed this must be true

For when I had gave up looking

That when it seems i found you

You picked up all my pieces

That I had carelessly thrown away

You brought them back together

And brought a light into my day

You placed them in a pile

So neatly on the ground

You showed me how to stack them

How to bind them up so sound

You told me not to let them go

That things would soon be right

You showed me how to care for us

To see this love so plain to sight

For part of loving the other

Is the need to fill these pages

To make a life from dreams

A love to mark the ages

I know i will love you eternal

I can feel this when we are together

My love will be here, enduring

Ever waiting, always and forever
