They were so happy
She was brought in this world
But they could have sworn that she was a girl
Growing up with brothers
Like no other
Knowing how to wrestle and play football
Man there were plenty of brawls
Knowing not to be a wimp
She was a girl always having to primp
She started to grow up
And that's when she had known
she had felt trapped
Always in a scrapped, anguished
She started to realize that she didn't like being a girl
She wanted to be a boy
She was so full of joy
That now she knew what she wanted
She was always so daunted
She wanted to be happy
Always so scrappy, she had to tell
When told her parents
They felt Barent
She was not their child according to them
The brothers thought she was a gem
"So beautiful" turned into "so handsome"
He's more happier than some
Starting to wear new clothes
Although sometimes he still loathes
Starting to save up for surgery
His parents still loved him
Every step of the way
They will always stay
He finally felt as free as a bee
He felt like herself
