You Can’t Change It

No matter what has happened in the past it is over and done with, you can’t change it. Why would anyone want to spend the time and effort on trying to rectify what is already done?

We all had and have choices to make, hopefully they were and are the right ones. We won’t know that until the results of our choices are known. So why be concerned about it. You can’t change it.

More time is spent regretting things we could have done different or not done at all than embracing the things that we have done well in our lives. “If only,” is one of the most used phrases when it comes to looking back over our lives.

No one can get a true retrospect on their life until they have lived it a number of years. When you are young not enough time has past to get a good sense of your life. Decisions made while young can have far reaching consequences later in life, but that is part of the process of living. Once done, You can’t change it.

Every day we start out with a clean slate. What we put on it depends on us. Day after day, week after week, year after year the story of our life is recorded in our personal history. How it will read when the final chapter is written is yet to be determined. What ever the conclusion, it is what it is. You can’t change it.
