Defined (by Inspiration)

Head down, laying like bricks upon my shoulders,
The better days as good as my worst, Problems coming at me like boulders.

----

The sunrise glare shows only my pain,

But there’s life in these scared knees yet,
On the back foot of a nervy stance,
Its only mind over matter, no regret.
----
A faint whisper comes, stand strong.
----
Wiping the dust from my hands,
I count my blessings,
I should do that more,
Focused, my feet firmly on the floor.
----
A deep breath, eagle-eyed,
The love has got me now,
Forever choice, follow my voice,
Be stronger, as I salute my brow.
----
Hit me once more, I dare you.
----
Standing tall, my knuckles high,
In the calm before the storm, loaded like a gun,
It’s not how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit,
That is how winning is done.
----
Faced with lead rain, the bravest I have ever been,
The storm is here, I duck then I swing.

I can do this all day.
