The Sand That Lives

Kebiin

Seeing waves rise and fall as nations do

Some rise higher,

But they only fall the hardest.

Some skyscrapers you depended on with your life,

But they ended up only ended up being as dependable

As the sand beneath your feet.

Some you thought would be there for you when

You needed it the most,

But they were far gone in the wind.

Though not all is grains and shells

That make your feet bleed,

Some rocks have defied the waves

And have stood standing for longer than the sand.

“A path has been carved for you,

No wave can touch you now.”
