"One Dream"

ominouspickle

I'm stuck in this circle
Of discontent and contentment
Back and fourth my emotions go
Leaving me without control
One moment I'm feeling love
The next I'm just so lost
Wanting to express rage
But afraid to leave my cage
I don't have the same desire
To scream about a game
Or cheer on others
Who seek glory from brothers
I have no passion
For an unseen being
That offers a tomorrow dream
One more thing that fits mainstream
I don't know why
I'm writing about these feelings
When nobody will see
Perfectly eye to eye as me
Maybe I just need a release
From the confusion inside
Or maybe I'm bored again
Or hope my distress comes to an end

Very nice rhyming structure, it compliments the meaning of the poem very well.
