As if what he does is the best

Glorifies drugs. He's not slick
Done nothing to separate from the rest
I'm sure other rappers will join in
Burst Roots bubble with a pin
First get off your ass
And house made of glass
Throwing stones won't help you win
Still waiting for hip hop to create
A film that steps up to the plate
All some do is complain
And make it rain
Do very little, but call themselves great
Take a tip from Muhammad Ali
Created rhymes, but wasn't folly

- Comment from author about the poem: A number of people from the Hip Hop community have been (unfairly) criticizing the new Roots Remake. In my opinion some of them have a lot of nerve based on what they do (or don't do) to create alternatives to slave-era epics.
