Your land

Severus Alexander

Tip-toe by the edge, at night..

A cliff overlooks the sea.

Curling, rasping, sleepily..

A tide of dreams from lands unseen..

Starlight pools beneath the trees..

Waving gently, silently..

The Sigh of heavy, argent leaves..

The Feel of sand between my toes..

The Taste of salted ocean breeze..

And fair her face, so close to me..

That in pale starlight seems to be..

All that I should ever wish to see..
