A Course of Dreams

HylianLoftwing

The walls of my room are painted black

To mimic the canvas of sleep

And when I do lay down to rest

Everything bursts into color

A movie unfolds before my eyes

And I'm one of the characters

A puppet played by someone else

I'm controlled against my will

Release me from these puppet strings

I want to wake up right now

Someone please take me away

From this hellish nightmare

And then within a blink of an eye

The scenes turn yet again

And I'm blissfully dreaming

About a night

A beautiful moonlight night

The waters are calm

And all is silent and still

I can relax for now

Until the cruel drab roar of reality

Wakes me from my wonderful dream
