Chapters Of Our Love

samishere

Hectic and sour
The traffic pollutes my sleep
Surely our final hour
But our love shall forever keep

As wise as I am
Through Albion I trek
Far away from Buckingham
Towards the gates of heck

She's left south
"I know you'll pull through"
Sweet words leave her mouth
Signed off with an "I love you"

For business has arisen
I'm forced to return home
Taken too soon - imprisoned
While she waits for me alone

My thoughts full of her
And all the things we'll do
Where my heart does prefer
In bed next to you

    Which Chapter is this Sam?
    Anyway,I wrote the Introduction...
I hope you'd enjoy it and add new chapters.
Who knows? I might help again...

It would be really interesting if we could build a set of poems, from different perspectives of a relationship? I gather you're hinting at a similar idea, but don't feel obliged. I think exploring what poetry can do and pushing it to its limits is a beautiful exercise.

Yes,I was hinting the idea, but I cannot guarantee the inspiration....
So do your bit and if I catch again the beat....
