Despair

Despair; a simple prayer,

screaming out from the heart of a lady fair,

her soul collapses as her body hits the ground,

with eyes filled with terror, no hope left to be found.

A ballad of lost lovers and broken dreams shatters her mind,

despite her humble heart and attempt to be loyal, loving and kind,

darkness possesses her spirit once again,

Of her attempts and suffering nothing will remain.

The stormy sky hits her and drags her in,

her body drifts off, her eyes start to dim.

"Goodbye cruel world", through gulps of tears she exclaims.

She knows that nothing will ever be the same again.
