God and The Ocean

OnMySoul

This life I live I live alone, Sins on my soul.

God looks but can't atone.

a desolate and lone sandy shore.

where one looks out with a heart that's tore,

begging God to find him, Forevermore.

But the Ocean replies with acid waves,

it engulfs me and drowns me,

an ocean filled with love and rage.

Love for a spirit that seeks Him.

Rage for a body made of transgression.

My soul can swim but can my body that's the question.

In a world not my own,

God's there but I feel alone
