Sick of Maybe

Izzi Lynn

There's a girl out here
Way away in Spain missing her dear
Her name ain't important but her story is

She didn't know it at first
But soon she was lovesick
Heartsick
Homesick

She was in love
And he wasn't there
He was back home
And she had left him there

He hasn't got a clue
And she almost didn't know
It took her awhile but finally, she knew
And she realized it right as she had to go

She's sitting in a car staring out a window
Wondering if he likes her, or if it was just for show
She's plucking petals off flowers
Wondering if he could fall in love with her by the powers
She's falling asleep late at night
Wondering what his lips on hers would feel like

There's a girl out here
Way away in Spain missing her dear
Her name ain't important but her story is
She's a lonely girl in need of his

Love baby
She's so sick of maybe
She's in love baby
And she's so sick of maybe

She's so far in love now
She can't imagine a way out
She's so crazy for him
She can't imagine being sane again

She's just a girl on vacation
Who's missing a boy more than her nation
She's just a girl in Spain
Who was missing him the moment she got on the plane
She's just a girl all alone right now
Who just wants his love somehow
She's just a girl in need of love baby
And she's so sick of maybe
