I Pray

Neaves15

Add to my burdens, so that when I carry them, I may get stronger

Tempt me with sin, so that when I refuse, I may become more righteous

Hate me with all your heart, so that when I love you, I may banish the evil

Beat me down until I can no longer stand, so that when I drop to my knees, i may pray.

and when I pray,

I will pray for those who stand and walk beside me

and when I find people who stand against me, I will pray for them

I will pray for those who are righteous and good

and when I find sinners and the wicked, I will pray for them

I will pray to see happiness and prosperity

and when I experience darkness, I will pray to see the light

I will pray for the ability to support those around me

and when I realize I am too weak, I will pray for more strength

This, I will pray.
