The Unexpected Ending

teenageheartbreak

I remember all the good times
All the long nights
All playful hitting that soon turned into play fights

We were so damn tight
You gave my darkness light
Back then we were alright
Back then there was no fright

But now really I'm scared
Emotionally impaired
All the love that once was there
Soon dissolved into the air

Where'd we even fall
It couldn't have been my fault
All I knew is we were cool
But now we don't talk at all

It really just bothers me
That I am too blind to see
What I apparently did
That's causing you to hate me

Can't you please explain
Because what's causing all my pain
Is not the fact that we broke apart
But the fact I can't obtain

The reason for our breaking
What's giving me this heart breaking
What's giving me such head aching
Please tell me that you are faking
