Brown

Desaru

Brown is nothing but a color

dull nonetheless

lifeless

until what point

at what point does it become

more

looking becomes admiring

these brown rings now fill you with life

until what point

at what point does it become

clear

clear that it's not brown

but hints of gold when kissed by the sun

no longer dull but rich

these golden brown rings make space and time

still

until what point

at what point does it become

real

all too real

that if you gaze for a second too long

you will be lost in the golden flakes

you might never look away

a color that once was a bore

now harmonious, peaceful, serene

more

at what point do you realize brown is just brown

until you love
