Past Memories

Eeva

When I was much younger,

I was that shining, bright kid,

That kid who liked everyone,

The one with all the friends.

I was that girl you could count on,

The one who you enjoyed,

Who got off the hook,

Way too many times.

I was happy and reckless,

Not a care in the world,

That kid with it all,

The one in the spot-light.

But everything has changed,

And I've dropped in the ranks,

To that one only girl,

Who is alone and afraid.
