There’s magic in this world
This much I can tell you
I may be just a young girl
But I know this much is true
There’s magic on the ground
Giant trees that touch the clouds
With roots deep under the town
Beneath the feet of all the crowds
There’s magic in the sky
A warm yellow fire ball
Metal things that can fly
And water that falls
There’s magic in the ocean
Millions of creatures swim along
Everything is in constant motion
And mermaids sing their songs
But there’s one thing you should know
Above all else, one single truth
As you learn and as you grow
There’s magic inside of you
Your smile casts a spell
Your laugh is like a potion
And though you can’t always tell
You could cause quite the commotion
You never know just who you could save
By turning frowns upside down
Change their scared to brave
And their danger to safe and sound
Zap their hatred away
And replace it with some love
No more fighting, let them play
And give them happy things to think of
The world can be a scary place
I know this all too well
But if you wear your magician’s cape
All you need is your Smile Spell
