Trampoline

The 2 A.M Writer

Running on fumes

The ice keeps cracking but won't break

Almost want to be submerged so I'm at peace

Rolling on stones and laying in dirt

Putting my face up to the glass and glimpsing into the nonsense

But I read the nonsense like scripture

And I ran with a poison kite

I'm a fish that throws itself out of water

Clouds feed me to keep me gasping

It's the perfect mind filler

A drug that only comes in overdose prescriptions

Inevitable is the end of my lies

But lies all spun in spool of wool over eyes

Can I lose again?

Can I lose again?

Can I lose again?
