Kauaʻi ʻŌʻō

DieIdeeDerKraftEinerIdee

He walked out of the cafe, he'd just recovered from Ague

A look casted upon somebody new, her eyes, shining pale blue.

Her stunning beauty and simple elagence could be seen from afar.

Then came the carrage, as black as tar

As quickly as he saw her was as swiftly as she went

He turned around, umbrella over his head, neck bent.

"And so she is gone. Beautiful like a bird and likewise never seen again", he thought. From the door, he finally walked away

But in his mind she was long to stay.

He woke up and went to the cafe, pen and paper in his hand, that very next evening

The same as yesterday, a few hours of writing, and from the cafe he went. There she was, he beheld her again.

But this time without a friend.

His stomach was rocking like the boats in the harbor, for he knew he could not miss her yet again. So he approached her, unconfidence noticable, and asked if he could walk her home.

To her home they talked and laughed, somehow instantly matched. That night his thoughts that of two words, "Until tomorrow", could have compiled into a tome.

For a year they met, they spent much time together.

He knew they would be in love forever.

One day he went to meet her for their anniversay at the cafe, where they met and blossomed from.

But on that day she didn't come.

He knew she wouldn't just leave, but no one knew where she was, and some suspected she'd become prey.

But everyday, just after sunset, he stood near the cafe.

Days became weeks and from weeks became months, until they turned into years.

He was there after every sunset, sometimes he would wait, and sometimes he would ride by, but he always shed tears.

The years numbered, but he never let go. Eventually, with age, his hair turned grey.

Then one day the light faded from the sky without him. The lonely man was put in a coffin to decay, but his love was never to stray.
