The Greatest Love of All

thatsilentgirl

From the beginning of the world,

To the end of everything,

You were here all along ,

You were always the KIng,

But Its been so hard ,

And I've been searching everywhere,

I know You're my Guard,

But I wonder If You ever heard my prayer.

Can't see You,

Can't touch You,

But I know You're here.

So where are You?

Wipe away my every tear.

Please take me Home again,

Take me over the stars,

And my heart, please mend,

I'm tired of seeing these cars.

I promised to be a good girl,

But I just keep feeling more pain,

I beg You,

Please don't let me go insane.

But no matter how much I suffer,

At the end of the day I feel the same,

Maybe a little tougher,

But I'm still glad I came.

Keep my Bible in one hand,

And my cell In the other,

Son of Man,

There Is no other.

Make the sign of the cross,

And pray more,

I could still be happy,

Even being poor,

I'll keep enduring the pain everyday,

As long as I know You love me,

The greatest price Your Son did pay,

So quiet, I should be,

More than my mom,

More than my dad,

More than my bro,

Or any man I'd ever had.

I love You.

And You love me more than anyone ever will.

Without You in anyone's life, they'd fall,

So You'll always be my greatest love of all.

This is very moving. Clearly, it is written straight-from-the-heart. Such raw feeling has to be genuine. The writer is a tower of strength in her faith. Thanks, Pat
