Prayerful Plea

By Austin Mays

~

What is wrong?

What is right?

Am I in Your throng?

Will You save me from night?

Will I burn or be saved?

Is my place in hell engraved?

For I hear all of these voices;

The vicious, corroding loud noises;

Reminding me of all my choices....

(Reality closes)

What is right?

What is wrong?

Will You fight?

Will You be for me strong?

Will I see the light of Your face?

Or is eternal death the toll of my disgrace?

For I fear all of the voices,

The vicious, corroding loud noises.

Reminding me of all my choices....

(Reality closes)

Jesus, I love you so much!

Jesus, please do not leave me as such!

I cry to You in the dead of night,

Please, do not leave me in this fight.

-

I died for you,

When the sky turned grey from blue.

You were harassed and helpless,

But through My sacrifice you are blessed.

Do not fear child,

My strength is not mild.

I have and will save,

You from the darkest grave.

I love you, friend, I love you.
