Out Of My Hands

jerryd59

In my hands my life was worthless, filled only with pain and sorrow.

Struggling to make it through each new day, while dreading the thought of tomorrow.

Then an idea occurred to me, almost as if out of the blue.

I began living my life for someone else, like I knew all along I should do.

Soon really neat things started happening, but they didn't all happen over night.

Now that road doesn't look so long, and I'm definitely seeing some light.

Things are so much better these days, as together we can face life's demands.

Sure, it still gets rough at times, but thank God it's out of my hands.
