Stormy waters.

camille

Stormy waters.

Who would have thought that our love would have faded?
Once shining and bright now toxic and jaded .
Our hopes and dreams now shattered and dull.
Our sea faring liner has a hole in the hull !

The water is pouring, down, down we will go.
To flounder in depths of despair, pain and woe.
You're drowning in me, sweet lover of mine.
Gasping for air in that cold salty brine.

My love is intense and consuming, it's true.
My thoughts an obsession - my head full of you.
A poison that creeps through my veins .. Cold and dark.
Viscous and deadly, to tarnish my heart.

Can we return to still waters of calm?
To the blue skies and laughter that soothed us like balm.
An end to the madness that threatens our love.
The white dove of peace on the wing up above.
