Hearts Divided

Doll in Wonderland

How is it

Once so close

Now having to cross mountains

To try and find your heart

Missing you

Smiling in the dark

At your mother's house

Wearing your clothes

Cuddled up in your bed

Late nights into early mornings

Kissing you

With your hand up my shirt

Now hearts divided

You turn away from me

And leave me alone in the dark

Trying to reconnect

Fumbling and failing

Crumpled up on the floor

So hurt

Your absence pains me

Almost as much as your silence

What can I do?

Where did you go?

Just waiting

And wanting to be wanted

By you

Again.
