Ghost of You

poetic_demise425

What happened to you?
What happened to us?
You're a ghost.
Where's your soul?
In my chest resides this hole.
This burning love in my chest.
I willingly laid it to rest.
It's tearing me apart and damaging my flesh.
All the poets come to life when they know things will never be alright.
I'm searching for this ghost inside of everyone I meet.
To find that untainted love just to be at peace.
Long live the car crashed hearts.
Because we know what's it's like to fall apart.
To sleep with only memories..
To question who's really there for me.
It gets harder every night.
Insomnia is at its best as I fight this with all of my might.
Someday I hope I'll finally be alright.
