Siren Song

Reivax Camlost

In a field beneath a blackened sky did ravens cry and sirens sing

To yield beneath the heckling cry of shadow sky where sirens sing

To the death knell flying and it’s master scrying will the sirens bring

A small boy crying in the tall grass lying is the sirens king

Can a wind bearing thunder rend the darkness asunder inside

Can a sin wearing umber send the harps and the thunder aside

Can a hym swearing slumber and stark winter wonder bring light

Can the frost be out-frozen by cold, dark emotion at night

But for the gulls and the ravens are we save for silence alone?
