A midnight prayer for peace

Reivax Camlost

Here I am, I can do no other

Here I stand, arm in arm with my brothers

Together we stand, divided we fall

That all men are created free and equal

In the eyes of whatsoever truth beholds

Our struggles, our words, our actions, and deeds

Our only witness impartial; we’d have no other way

Our only hope that some soul shall listen, as we say

Our only dream of peace among men, a peace to stay

A peace of which we dream, night and day

Here I am, I can do no other
