Elegy For The Lost: Forevermore

DeathInGrey

I know these words will never change a thing
This sorry excuse for an apology cannot cope for the sting
The sting of a cold knife stabbed straight into your back
A pain more excruciating that a heart attack
I have imagined time and time what it must have felt like
To have your days cut short and ruined out of spite
But alas my emotions will not allow me to care
I sometimes wonder if they are even there
This sorry attempt is also my goodbye to a closing door
I am sorry for the death of you and the birth of me,
Forevermore
